Review of the Samsung Omnia II
Checking to see if you can view pdf files on your Quickfire.
I am considering getting one, however some of the other Touchscreen phone options have pdf's viewable.
Thank you and you can reach me on my cell if you choose, 770 377 9427

i've seen reviews that constantly say "nice look but bad quality" which i'm sure you just see those everywhere. but also-- can you put wallpapers on here or is it always that blue screen??
please respond ASAP-- thank you!
ps- your review was extremely helpful
people always talk about how their phone has problems. there a simple reason. people drop them.
people get a cover and take care of your phone and it will last forever.
NOTE: This phone DOES NOT play songs bought from iTunes (m4a files). Great music player though.
BOTTOM LINE- for you texters who want a high-quality phone with a full keyboard and 3G web speeds, but cant quite afford an iPhone and are on the AT&T network, get this phone! It is better (in my opinion) than any other touch screen phones AT&T has to offer (except for the almighty iPhone) lol. Hope this review was helpful! Happy New Year! ^_^
Note: I'm going from an Iphone to a Quick-fire.
There's a Quickfire fans site http://www.AllQuickFire.com Share your opinions there.
I was going to get a Pantech Duo, though I heard bad things about the qwerty keyboard. I would like to thank you for your review on the phone, it was very helpful and I intend on buying one ASAP.
In order to text and talk, you must push home, and navigate without pushing end, or else you hang up on the person. It locks up, when doing little things. And it's broken stuck closed, stuck open, stuck both ways. (which its not supposed to do) But in the end it is partially my fault because im bad with phone, and it had been thrown
- Luv Quickfire Luver
Touchscreen is horribe.
Slower than dirt.
Sounds quality sucks.
Sliders on it suck.
Battery life is also horribe.
if you txt alot its be dead within an hour and a half.
just plain out the biggest waste of money.
ive had it for about four months and it barely runs.
when i get a new one this is getting smashed and thrown away.
Just E-mail Me If Interested =)

*The touchscreen has become unresponsive. I can't even send texts anymore! ((Huge turnoff, since I normally send between 50 and 100 texts a day.))
*It turns off randomly, and the battery cover comes off a lot... just falls right off!
*If I'm texting someone, and recieve a message, I ignore it, like any other person. It beeps. A lot. Until I read the new message. If I'm, say, looking at pictures and ignore a new text, it closes me out of everything that I'm doing. So then I have to check the message, whether I ever wanted to or not.
*I found a crack today.... I never drop my phone!.... So apparently, there are two layers of screen. Top, the part you touch, and bottom, the part you dont. The crack? bottom layer. Top layer's fine. What the Quickfire?
*I'm sure you all know about when AT&T sent around letters about chargers and... new chargers! They were insulting us, you know. Like we couldn't figure out that if it doesn't fit, you turn it around...
*Speaking of chargers...... The old charger heated up really bad. AT&T sent out the letter saying, "Oh, this one works! It won't ever heat up again!" ... Ha ha ha ha ha..... Guess what? .... It did.
*My key and lock doesn't work anymore. Just sits there. I tap the lock, then the key... Again, and again, and again... I get impatient and just slide it open.
*So with all these problems, why haven't I called them, or gone into the store? Well, there's an excellent explanation for that... I did. I was informed that we (being "proud" Quickfire users) had until December 2009 (yet to come) to call in or go by the store to get a new phone. Any new phone. For free or a reduced price. I called. Informed them of my problems. Guess what they said? "I don't know what you're talking about." So I went into the store. Got the same response. Aren't they helpful?
And these aren't even all of the problems... I can't even remember them all! So I'm pretty sick of AT&T right now. :(

Quickfire: Delete Message? Yes No
It takes approx. 5 minutes to work.
I...like you guys were all hyped up about getting the quickfire and having it, the first 2 weeks it was great! no problems what so ever.... then that all went to crap my screen started to get unresponsive and it wouldnt charge right either, i take great care of my phones and take pride in that. i called customer service and complained they said send it in for a new quickfire....me thinking i just had a bad phone i said ok and low and behold i got my new quickfire the same thing happened but in less amount of time yet again the screen was unresponsive and this time it started to delete my unread txts and dropping my calls. furious i called customer service and upon further pushing the lady told me that theyve had over 20 people complain about there quickfire hence why the recall soon after that. People have there opinions and this is mine....dont get it its a waste of money and me being 19 and in collage i need a reliable phone. DO NOT BUY THE QUICKFIRE! its a health hazard all in its own.
