well you said 30 devices over the years, so that includes their earlier/discontinued devices that were rebranded before they aquired DOPOD in 2007.

Yup, the HTC Universal does have a 3.5mm headset jack. But as far as I know, it was not sold as "HTC Universal", but as Qtek 9000, i-mate JASJAR, O2 XDA Exec, T-Mobile MDA IV and other branded names like these. Anyway, it is indeed the fourth HTC handset to have a 3.5mm jack, but it's discontinued now.
