Review of the Samsung Omnia II
Agree, It looked so sexy when HTC released it. WTFFFFFFFFF is that orange ugly color. They made the Touch Pro look so sexy and then this ... pretty disappointing ... But, anything is better then AT&T or T-mobile that is always behind any trend. If you find a better back cover, let me know where ... thx
U love the phone but you want to stay with AT&T??????? WTF would you do that???? They have no customer loyalty like any other carrier and you know this version is going to have the European/Asian HSDPA on it. SO again, tell me why you would stay with AT&T? Fuck them ... worst carier ever worked with ... All they want is your money, don't really care about anything else. Cannot believe that Apple is working just with them ... iPhone is very nice, but AT&T, thanks, but no thanks ...
The Dark Lord
But I can tell you from personal experience the complete incompetence of their customer service centers, the complete apathy and vindictive, spiteful attitude of their reps, and the little "oops" scams they would pull over and over again to cheat you out of more money. I still hear the stories to this day of them doing the same shit. I even blogged about it a little on http://stinkywap.funformobile.com.
I started out a loyal customer but after working there and having them screw up and cheat me on two separate accounts of mine, I will never give them another penny of my money. If I was dying of thirst and they had the only water supply in the world I would let them take another coin I worked to earn. They are the filthy lowlife company of the wireless industry. No matter how great the iPhone is, I will never have one as long as Apple stays stupid and continues to cheat themselves out of 73% of the wireless marketshare. I got an iPod Touch, same exact thing as an iPhone, and I use my HTC Touch Pro on Sprint's blinding fast data network and put up a wifi hotspot using an app called Walking Hotspot, and my iPod functions just like an iPhone. So I get the best of both worlds and I can get online on my laptop with it.
Tmobile has good customer service but both them and AT&T are stuck on 90's technology. No self respecting smartphone owner would waste a powerful phone like the Touch Pro 2 on a technologically backwards GSM carrier like AT&T or Tmob.
And it's so customizable, it's crazy. There are so many alternative interfaces for it that change the look and feel of it so much it's like having a new phone. There's TouchFlo, Winterface, SPB Mobile Shell, Point UI Home 2 plus free ones like iFonz 1 and iFonz 2, Throttle Launcher. All of them are excellent in their own ways and fully customizable. You can do that on any other platform. And there are apps to tweak just about any function on the phone or add new functionality.
I have the Touch Pro now and I love it. The hardware is better than Palm. The keys on all Palm phones are so tiny it's almost insulting. The Centro had keys so small I literally questioned the intelligence of the design team. The Pre is also an odd shape and not nearly as attractive as the TP2. The TP2 looks like it kicks ass and takes names. The Pre is just kinda cool. But typing on a Touch Pro is very comfortable as the buttons are the right size and spaced far enough apart. I won't go on and on about how great my phone is, but the point is, the hardware is better than the Pre.
So people complain about Windows Mobile nonstop and love to talk about its demise. But the fact is, if you know how to wor with it and maintain it to keep it running smoothly, and if you can have some patience with it, there are tremendous advantages to it over other phone OS's. It's not as bad as people make it out to be.
Windows on your desktop IS that bad but Windows Mobile, while it is nowhere near as stable, innovative or user friendly as Web OS or possibly Android, it is still superior to those OS's in other more important ways. If I switched to the Pre, there are a lot of apps I wouldn't be able to run anymore that give me important functions I can't do on the Pre. So think carefully about what you want to do with your phone before switching to the new system.
if uu think its ugly idk wta the fukk is wron with yhu?!?!?!
