Unwired View: Verizon Wireless Network Extender Review

Name · 3 months agoI believe the reviewer is incorrect in suggesting the device uses WiFi technology. There is no reference to WiFi in the user manual. It connects to the internet and is much closer to a cellular skype system; the information from your cell phone comes and goes on the internet. Your cell phone acts more like a wireless walkie talkie. No WIFI is used at all.

Jasper2 · 1 month agoYou do NOT have to be within 15 feet of the Network Extender for it to work. You must come within 15 feet of the device initially to get logged in. Once logged in, you can go anywhere within an approximate 100 yard radius. Once you get beyond that distance, your call would be handed off to the strongest tower signal. I have one in a 3500 square foot house, and I remain connected even when I leave the house and walk up to 100 feet or so beyond the yard.
